Beehive Windows and Doors was founded by Brian Miller, current Owner and Manager alongside his wife, Carol. The Millers have been growing their family business for the last decade – from their own garage to their current showroom on London Line.
Beehive was born when Brian, having worked in the window and door business for nearly 20 years, felt that he was ready to do things his own way – to smooth out problems he had seen in the past and continue to do what worked.
Brian brings plenty of experience and passion to Beehive. He has worked for Donat Flamand as a Sales and Service Representative, and for Ducana Windows and Doors as an Installation Supervisor. He completed his education in Carpentry at Lambton College, and can now boast over 30 years of professional experience in the field.
Brian’s favourite part of his job is meeting so many interesting people in and around Sarnia. He also enjoys having the opportunity to put a personal touch on all of the projects Beehive completes, and helping his employees to develop their skills alongside his young business.
When he’s not measuring windows and doors, chatting with customers or installing products, Brian loves to scuba dive, spend time with his wife and three children, and play rec league hockey.
Where did Beehive get its name?
The name ‘Beehive Windows and Doors’ was suggested by Brian and Carol’s children!
In 2003, Brian started a hockey school for them called ‘Beehive Hockey’ (inspired by the Sarnia Sting) that grew quickly and is still active today. Since Brian was already known in Sarnia for his involvement in Beehive Hockey, ‘Beehive Windows and Doors’ just made sense.
